Where's my kitchen!?

Day 30

E and I ventured out to the new house today to see what Mike has been up to these last couple weeks are so. Boy has he been at work.

We are at the final stages of planning everything and finally ready to start executing our plan.

Counter tops have been picked out. So have the cabinets, floors, and wall colors.

It's kind of overwhelming to really sit back, look at the list and see how much work there is left to do, but I just keep saying that it will be worth it. Okay, so Mike keeps telling me it will be worth it. I'm getting a little impatient. It's probably because I'm not the one doing all the work right now.

As of now, we are hoping to be in there in January with the slight possibility of before Christmas. Now I'm just going to pretend that the idea of being in there before Christmas is non-existent, because I don't want to get my hopes up.

Our kitchen has been the biggest project.

This is going to be my favorite thing ever. That top part of the wall is coming down this week and I was have a nice large work space.

Oh and now here are some pictures of the yard now. This is the side of the yard from the patio door.

Behind the house. Mike wants to get rid of the trees and I love them. Stay tuned to see who wins that battle.

Another view from the side. Eventually we want to take out that patio and make a longer one.

We are going to rip out the bushes and replace them with flowers and different bushes. We love the other side's landscaping so we will probably copy them.
